Very Good App
I have type 2 diabetes and need to track my diet carefully. I especially need to track my carbohydrate intake. Perfect Diet Tracker does that plus more. I can select what nutrients I want to follow from several listed: Protein, Fats, Carbs, Sodium, even Fiber. Oh yes, and calories. (There may be more which I dont recall right now.) As I make entries into my daily meals it gives me a nutritional summary for each item, then tallies the totals for each meal.
One odd thing: The program allows for creating, adding, and saving your own recipes to an area called "Group" from which you can then insert your own recipe into a meal. Unfortunately it inserts every ingredient separately instead of just inserting the name of the recipe and a combined nutritional analysis. So, if you have added a bread recipe, for instance, and you select that item for "breakfast", you will get: Flour; yeast; oil; salt; etc., all listed separately for breakfast. If there is a way around it I havent discovered it yet. Still, I think thats a minor vexation and I can live with it.
This is a very good app. It suits my needs just fine.
