Serious Failure
I am sorry to have to give such a negative review but no matter how good a diet tracker is, without distributed availability and reliability, it is effectively worthless. I set up the program on my home Mac this morning and set up dropbox sync. That went fine. I entered some foods that were not in the database (even on internet search). When I installed the program on the office mac, there was no option to select dropbox sync from the beginning. I had to set up a new user to get at settings. When I then set up dropbox settings, no acknowledgement of my existing files. If your app can share data between Apple devices, it should use iCloud. You chose to use Dropbox. Fine, no big deal. Except, it doesnt work. For a struggling dieter who counts on reliability, I would be better off paying a service like weight watchers monthly since they have the available everywhere thing figured out. Other apps are using iCloud sync successfully, and Dropbox.
